If you want to visit the United States, you must apply for a US visa. This visa type is intended for government officials. It does not allow personal employees or attendants, or domestic workers. DS-160 Form
The DS-160 form is a digital application form that can be filled out by individuals who wish to visit the United States of America. The form is required to be filled out within 30 days of the date of application. To obtain the DS-160 form, visit the Consular Electronic Application Center website. Once you log in to your account, click on the tab titled “Retrieve an Application”. Once you have entered your application ID number, click “Retrieve Application.”
The DS-160 form may ask you if you are eligible for an interview waiver. This waiver does not apply to J1 camp counselors. If you answer yes, InterExchange will contact you to schedule an in-person interview. Otherwise, you must wait until your documents are returned before scheduling an interview.
Documents required for a visa interview
